A Culture of Employee Participation
The people of GLJ are often active volunteers and advocates of many associated professional groups which impact upon the industry. The Petroleum Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), APEGGA and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) all benefit from the community spirit of GLJ personnel.
Our employees are renowned for individual contribution to local, national and international charitable efforts. Employees are also encouraged to participate in corporate charity events under the banner of GLJ and have been responsible for successful participation in events such as; Calgary Corporate Challenge, Annual United Way Campaign, Theatre Calgary Banff/Calgary Road Race and Alberta Dragon Boat Races held in Calgary. GLJ employees can often be found personally canvassing or volunteering for organizations of worth.
